I regularly work as an artistic consultant for TV shows, series, books and even cartoons. However, my experience is not limited to the artistic world.

From curating exhibitions to devising strategies for galleries, there is a multitude of solutions that I can provide for both private companies and public institutions. From small businesses to state museums, I can act as external consultant to engage audiences and develop the relationship with the consumer.

Aside from this, I have an ample experience in art consultancy, to make sure that your product makes sense from an historical point of view.

Art Galleries

Following internships in some of the leading galleries in arts such as Saatchi, I have developed an extensive knowledge of the global art market from working as an assistant in art fairs and as visitor in others. From managing at Frieze Art Fair London and working at Frieze Masters, I have accumulated experience with temporary large-scale events which qualifies me for the challenges of the art market. I studied at Sotheby’s so I am aware of the secondary and tertiary markets in conjunction with the skills necessary to run art programs for small institutions.

Small Businesses

From my lifelong passion for the different influences that converge into streetwear fashion, I have made a positive impact in numerous independent businesses. The relationships I have forged have led me to attend the largest trade fairs and establish contacts with manufacturers, not least by being creative director for Organic Anagram Industries. I am always glad to help mission-driven brands with an authentic, informed perspective to reach their audience and succeed in a competitive sphere. From opportunities to improve the retail experience encapsulated in the creation of a brand to the use of floor space and online placement, my consultancy is focused on results.

Publishing

With a life-long passion for books and printed matters, I can consult for various agents in book and magazine publishing. From literature, poetry, photography to zines, I operate in different fields. Having worked in a major British bookshop, I have a deep understanding of the needs of consumers and marketing. As a collector, I am also invested in how the book trade works, and I can help from tracking and securing sold-out volumes to consulting on new series. Other services can also be provided in line with my translation experience.

Property Management

Having a MA in Contemporary Design, I have a long-lasting interest in design and architecture that expands into the residential market. With property management experience with a diversified portfolio in both England and Portugal, I can provide business consultancy and group management for the hospitality industry. From solutions for luxury tourism to setting up programs for artistic residencies for non-profit foundations, I have consulted for projects of a diversified nature. My ethical sense and legal knowledge of construction and renovation led to a membership of the jury for The Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2011 in the affordable and conversion categories.

Curation

My touch and taste have been solicited for different roles on an international setting. With my close involvement with artistic practices of different generations, I have gained the ability to produce an exhibition from scratch — every step from curation to promotion and the production of supporting materials. I have also developed as part of an art & research foundation and I can provide counseling for personal collectors and enterprises looking to expand their art collections — from conceptual to renaissance, baroque to minimalist art.

Museums & Art Foundations

Having worked for the Tate Britain Learning Department, I am not limited to theoretical approaches. I am also qualified by MoMA on strategies for teaching in a museum environment and interactive strategies to engage with art. For museums, I am eager to act as an external consultant, from helping expand collections but also devising strategies to make the institution a more functional space, with accessibility for all regarding the materials and collections. My background also allows me to advice on how to broaden inclusivity and engagement with all visitors, from making the public displays more visible to expanding the reach into new territories.
